Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

I offer CBT in my practice; this is a well-known therapy; it is a solution focused on looking at thought’s feelings, and behaviours; changing these can help manage your problems. I will work collaboratively with you to achieve your desired goals.

A vital part is identifying the negative thinking patterns in which you may feel trapped, helping you break free from these and feel better.

CBT focuses on equipping you with the tools to address current problems in your life and relieve the symptoms you’re facing before making links to your past and how your beliefs started.

This is done by using worksheets and doing activities that change behaviours and your way of thinking. Homework will be given to alter patterns outside the counselling environment.

One of the main goals of CBT is for you to gain skills and understanding of yourself to become your own therapist, to make life easier and more manageable for you.

In your initial introduction, we can explore which would be the right therapy for your personal circumstance; we may incorporate both therapies into your personal journey in therapy, as one size does not fit all.

If you feel you would like to work together to find a way of being kind to yourself and showing the world the real you, contact me for our initial introduction on 07563284791 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
